– Comprehensive history and assessment

– Investigations: ECG, X-ray, Echocardiography, MRI, CT scan

– Follow-up for the personalised multimodal management plan

– Referrals to specialists (e.g. Cardiologist, Respiratory physician Gastroenterologist)

 

Multimodal Treatment: 

Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may include:

– Oral analgesics, such as anti-inflammatory medication

– Cardiac interventions, including stents or angioplasty

– Pain interventions: costochondral injection and nerve blocks

– Physical therapy: stretching and breathing exercises

– Psychological support: stress management and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
